EDMONTON - Oilers general manager Craig MacTavish sacked head coach Dallas Eakins on Monday, saying while Eakins is taking the fall for mounting losses, he isnt solely to blame for whats shaping up to be another dismal NHL season in playoff-starved Edmonton.
